| James Blank began his photography career while he was still in high school in his hometown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.He sold forty black-and-white photos before he graduated. It wasn't until he moved to Chula Vista, California in 1969 that he became a full-time professional photographer. |
|
|
| James is probably one of the country's most prolific postcard photographers. Over 6,000 of his images appear on
North American postcards and over 3,000 in calendars. His work has
appeared in many magazines, brochures and on telephone book covers. |
|
|
| He travels constantly, re-shooting various locations to keep his imagery current. A few of his clients include Hallmark, Kodak, AAA, Travel and Leisure and Marriott Hotels. |
